General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for general contractor services to renovate the ‘Youth Room’ at West Point Grey Community Centre located at 4397 West 2nd Avenue in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The West Point Grey Community Centre Association initiated this renovation project after the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development awarded the West Point Grey Community Centre (WPGCC) a grant to "create a legacy that will benefit British Columbia's communities". Specifically, the objective of the project is to renovate the existing Youth Room in order to create a multi-purpose space. The current room is underutilized so upgrades to the space would greatly improve the ability to offer more diverse programming to the community.
Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on August 23, 2019 commencing at 2:00 p.m. Vancouver Time.
The location of the Information Meeting will be the West Point Grey Community Centre at 4397 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. Tenderers are asked to meet in the lobby of the Aberthau Heritage Building five (5) minutes prior to the commencement of the Information Meeting.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to August 22 2019.
