SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
Proponents should submit their Proposals on or before the time and date specified in the bottom row of the table in Section 2.1 (the “Closing Time”).

Each Proponent should submit its Proposal by email in accordance with the following:

Subject of the file to be: PS20171178 – Provision of Online Backflow Assembly Testing and Management Services – Vendor name.

Document format for submissions:

RFP Part C in PDF format – 1 combined PDF file,

Appendix 3 (pricing tab) in Excel format, and;

Any other attachments if necessary

Zip the files to reduce the size or email separately if needed.

Send your submissions to Bids@vancouver.ca do not deliver a physical copy to the City of Vancouver, and do not email to the Contact Person.

General Description of Requirement

The RFP concerns the City’s interest in procuring Online Backflow Assembly Testing and Management Services.

The City’s Waterworks Design Branch requires an online backflow preventer database software solution, and ongoing technical and customer support services, to transition from the City’s current manually-entered and managed test results and customer notification system. The new solution will have additional capacity and capability to improve the efficiency of, and reduce the cost of customer, tester, and City communication relating to backflow preventer testing and test report submission.
