General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver as represented by its Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation (the “City”) invites Tenders for the renewal of the spray park at Connaught Park.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
(a) Site mobilization and hoarding, and tree protection
(b) Earthwork, stripping, grading and drainage for splash park area, and pathways connections
(c) Demolition, removal and disposal of all material indicated
(d) Paving of concrete, asphalt and/or others
(e) Supply and install splash park components including enclosures, concrete, mechanical and electrical system, water treatment and drainage system as per design
(f) Supply and install exterior site furnishings and concrete components
(g) Provision of landscape maintenance as described in the specifications
(h) Provision of all related equipment and non-spray park requirement in accordance to the specifications
The Site is located at 2390 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on November 14, 2019 commencing at 10:00 A.M.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: Connaught Park, spray park area, 2390 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email prior to 3:00 P.M., November 12, 2019.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before 3:00 P.M., November 21, 2019.
