General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders from general contractors working with
appropriate subcontractors for the upgrading of one (1) existing basement traction passenger
elevator as described hereinafter. The work will include both the elevator (modernization) and
Fire panel (upgrade) for construction.
The Site is located at 1261 Granville Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further
described in the Tender Documents.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on Wednesday September 4, 2019 commencing at 9:00 am.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 1261 Granville Street, Vancouver,
British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the
Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or
email on or prior to Friday August 30, 2019.
