May 3, 2018 (the “Closing Time”).

Quotations must be marked with the vendor’s name and the RFQ title and number.

“Vancouver Time” will be conclusively deemed to be time in the City of Vancouver, as
indicated in the electronic timestamp the Quotation receives upon delivery to the email
address specified herein, which is in turn synchronized to Network Time Protocol (NTP)
provided by the National Research Council of Canada adjusted to local Pacific Time
Zone.

General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) is seeking quotations to determine if it will enter into one or more contracts in respect of Trillium Park Rubber Playground Surface Replacement.

The Park Board is seeking cost effective solutions for the resurfacing of the playground in the northern 1/3 of Trillium Park. The rubber playground surface at Trillium Park has deteriorated and is no longer suitable. The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation (Park Board) is interested in hiring an experienced contractor with expertise in playground safety surfaces, to replace the existing surface playground surface for both the west and east playground areas.

Information Meeting

An information meeting and site visit will be held to enable Vendors to seek clarification with respect to any aspect of the RFQ in a group forum. Details are as follows:

Date/Time: April 19, 2018, 10:00 AM

Location: Trillium Park Playground, 600 National Avenue, Vancouver (Playground is near the intersection of Malkin Avenue and Thornton Street)

Potential Vendors interested in attending the mandatory information meeting should preregister for the information meeting by completing and submitting the form contained in Appendix A by e-mail to jessica.li@vancouver.ca on or before April 18, 2018.
