General Description of Requirement

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) provides an opportunity to submit proposals for review by the Library and, depending on the Library’s evaluation of proposals, among other factors, to potentially negotiate with the Library to enter into a contract. EXCEPT WHERE EXPRESSLY STATED OTHERWISE IN APPENDIX 1 TO PART C OF THE RFP: (I) NO PART OF THE RFP CONSISTS OF AN OFFER BY THE LIBRARY TO ENTER INTO ANY CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP; AND (II) NO PART OF THE RFP IS LEGALLY BINDING ON THE LIBRARY.

The RFP concerns the Library’s interest in procuring a qualified consultant to work with the Library to identify alternative scheduling approaches, and recommend new staffing models for positions. Details of the Library’s objectives and requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The Library welcomes proposals that are
responsive to this RFP (“Proposals”) respecting innovative or novel approaches to the Library’s objectives and requirements.
