General Description of Requirement
Still Creek is one of the few surviving open watercourses in the City of Vancouver, located on the
territory of the Musqueam Indian Band, Squamish Nation, Tsleil-Waututh Nation and Stó:lo Nation. The
creek is part of the larger Still Creek – Brunette River watershed that discharges into the Fraser River in
New Westminster. The study's purpose is to guide future work in the Still Creek watershed to improve
the health of the waterway including physical instream habitat, riparian habitat and water quality
while benefiting ecological, social and cultural values. The study will identify and describe projects
that contribute to the implementation of the Still Creek Integrated Stormwater Management Plan, the
Rain City Strategy and the Climate Emergency Action Plan (Big Move 6 Nature-based Carbon
Sequestration). The study will inform the Renfrew Rupert Station area planning and the associated
