All references to time in the RFP are references to the time in the City of Vancouver, as indicated in the electronic timestamp the Proposal receives upon delivery to the email address specified herein, which is in turn synchronized to Network Time Protocol (NTP) provided by the National Research Council of Canada adjusted to local Pacific Time Zone.
CLOSING LOCATION
Each Proponent should submit its Proposal by email to Bids@vancouver.ca with the Proponent’s name and the RFP title and number PS20201029 in the “subject” line “Supply and Delivery of Brush Chipper Trailer”.

-RFP Appendix 1 & 2 in PDF format – 1 combined PDF file,
-Appendix 1 to Part B – Technical Requirements in Excel spreadsheet
-Any other attachments if necessary
Zip the files to reduce the size or email separately if necessary.

To be considered by the City, a Proposal must be submitted in the form set out in Appendix 1 (the “Proposal Form”), completed and duly executed by the relevant Proponent.
Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
The City requires one (1) brush chipper trailer plus the option to purchase additional units during the term of the agreement that will better support tree-trimming operations around the City as more trees are planted. Size, adjustability of feed, and ease-of-repair will be key considerations for the selection of this equipment. The proposed unit will be towed almost entirely within the City of Vancouver and will see grades of 6-8% and must be capable of reaching speeds of at least 60 km/hr.
