SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
Proponents should submit their Proposals on or before the time and date specified in the bottom row of the table in Section 2.1 above (the “Closing Time”).
Each Proponent should submit its Proposal by email in accordance with the following:
• Subject of the file to be: PS20181895 SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 10 YARD SIDE LOADING REFUSE TRUCKS - Title – Vendor name.
• Document format for submissions:
o RFP Part C in PDF format – 1 combined PDF file,
o Appendix 1 to Part B (Technical Specifications) in Excel format,
o Appendix 3 to Part C – Commercial Proposal – Separate PDF file
o Any other attachments if necessary
• Zip the files to reduce the size or email separately if needed.
• Send your submissions to Bids@vancouver.ca; do not deliver a physical copy to the City of Vancouver.
• If you did not receive an automated email within few minutes, check your junk folder first, and then contact Purchasing@vancouver.ca.
• Submitting the files via Drop box, FTP, or similar programs, is not acceptable
Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
The RFP concerns the City’s interest in procuring refuse trucks on an as and if when needed basis. The refuse trucks include dual and single stream and rear and side loading as required by the City during the term of this agreement. The City is interested in the immediate procurement of five (5) dual-stream, side loading refuse trucks, with an option to purchase additional dual-stream, side loading refuse trucks during the term of the agreement. Details of the City’s objectives and requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The City welcomes proposals that are responsive to this RFP (“Proposals”) respecting innovative or novel approaches to the City’s objectives and requirements.[top]
