CLOSING LOCATION
Proponents should submit their proposals on or before 3:00pm on the 19th day of December, 2018 (the “Closing Time”) by email in accordance with the following:

Any other attachments if necessary
Zip the files to reduce the size or email separately if needed.
Send your submissions by email to Bids@vancouver.ca do not deliver a physical copy to the City of Vancouver.

Submitting the files via Drop box, FTP, or similar programs, is not acceptable.
To be considered by the City, a Proposal must be submitted in the form set out in Appendix 1 (the “Proposal Form”), completed and duly executed by the relevant Proponent.
Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
The City has the following Requirements:
The City of Vancouver is seeking a Senior IT Management Consultant to lead the implementation of a Hybrid Data Centre Environment to support the City’s technology service delivery.
Major Deliverables include:
-Develop a comprehensive program and project plans while leading a diverse team in the delivery of the program
-Establish a co-location data centre environment outside the earthquake zone including the option to leverage cloud services
-Migrate storage and compute infrastructure and services from the City’s current secondary data centre to the co-location data centre
-Manage the above within the established funding and resources approved in the IT Capital Plan
The role will report to the Deputy Chief Information Officer and will be part of the Enterprise Technology leadership team. The program is planned to run for two years and has full capital funding to support it.
