SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
Proponents should submit their Proposals on or before the time and date specified in the
bottom row of the table in Section 2.1 (the “Closing Time”).
Each Proponent should submit its Proposal by email to bids@vancouver.ca with the
Proponent’s name and the RFP title and number in the “subject” line (“Consultant for Design
and Construction Management for Three Pump Station Replacements; PS20180581”).
Proposals must not be submitted by fax.
To be considered by the City, a Proposal must be submitted in the form set out in Part C (the “Form of Proposal”), completed and duly executed by the relevant Proponent.
Amendments to a Proposal may be submitted via the same methods, at any time prior to the
Closing Time.
Proposals are revocable and may be withdrawn at any time before or after the Closing Time.
Please refer to Section 4.0 for full details regarding Submission of Proposals.
Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
The RFP concerns the City’s interest in procuring consulting services to prepare conceptual and
detailed designs and perform construction monitoring for three pump stations within the City.
The successful consultant will provide the City with designs, drawings, and specifications,
attend and participate in public engagement sessions, provide contract administration services,
and carry out inspections during construction. Details of the City’s objectives and
requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The City welcomes
proposals that are responsive to this RFP (“Proposals”) respecting innovative or novel
approaches to the City’s objectives and requirements.
