CLOSING LOCATION
Proponents should submit their proposals on or before 3:00pm on the 17th day of October, 2018 (the “Closing Time”) by email in accordance with the following:
- Subject of the file to be: PS# - Title – Vendor name.
-Document format for submissions:
-Appendix 1 proposal Form,
-Appendix 1 Commercial Proposal and;
-Any other attachments if necessary
-Zip the files to reduce the size or email separately if needed.
-Send your submissions to Bids@vancouver.ca do not deliver a physical copy to the City of Vancouver.
If you did not receive an automated email within few minutes, check your junk folder first, and then contact Purchasing@vancouver.ca
Submitting the files via Drop box, FTP, or similar programs, is not acceptable.
To be considered by the City, a Proposal must be submitted in the form set out in Appendix 1 (the “Proposal Form”), completed and duly executed by the relevant Proponent.
Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
This purpose of this procurement is to identify the incremental hard construction cost between a high-performance energy efficient multi-unit residential building (MURB) and the Certified Passive House standard for a high-rise MURB.
The work will undertake a detailed technical analysis of a completed case study building in the City of Vancouver to determine the difference in design, construction and cost between an existing high-rise MURB that was constructed between 2013 -2018, and evaluate the requirements and costs of achieving the same building to the Certified Passive House standard.
