General Description of Requirement
The RFP concerns the City’s interest in procuring a Consultant for Sewer Separation. Details of the City’s objectives and requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The City welcomes proposals that are responsive to this RFP (“Proposals”) respecting innovative or novel approaches to the City’s objectives and requirements.
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) is seeking a professional engineering Consultant (the “Consultant”) with the capability, capacity and experience to act as the Engineer of Record (the “Engineer”) for approximately 6.2 km of sewer separation and green infrastructure works. The project has been broken into three packages of work for which the Engineer shall provide design, tender services, inspection, and construction support services as listed in Section 1.4. This project is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to separate combined sewers in response to the requirements for combined sewer overflow reduction, as stipulated in Metro Vancouver’s Integrated Liquid Waste and Resource Management Plan (the “ILWRMP”).
