General Description of Requirement

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) provides an opportunity to submit Proposals for review by the City and, depending on the City’s evaluation of Proposals, among other factors, to potentially negotiate with the City to enter into an Agreement. EXCEPT WHERE EXPRESSLY STATED OTHERWISE IN APPENDIX 1 TO PART C OF THE RFP: (I) NO PART OF THE RFP CONSISTS OF AN OFFER BY THE CITY TO ENTER INTO ANY CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP; AND (II) NO PART OF THE RFP IS LEGALLY BINDING ON THE CITY.

The RFP concerns the City’s interest in engaging a consulting firm to provide marine engineering consulting services for the Burrard Civic Marina Renewal project. Details of the City’s objectives and requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The City welcomes Proposals respecting innovative or novel approaches to the City’s objectives and requirements.
