“Vancouver Time” will be conclusively deemed to be the time indicated in the electronic timestamp the Tender receives upon receipt at the email address specified herein, which is in turn synchronized to Network Time Protocol (NTP) provided by the National Research Council of Canada adjusted to local Pacific Time Zone.
Tenders are to be emailed to email@example.com and must be received at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to 3:00pm, Vancouver Time (as defined in Note 3 below), on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 (the “Closing Time”).
Tenders will be not be publicly opened. Tender results can be found within 48 hours of the Closing
Time at the following website:
Tenders must be received at the email addressed specified above prior to the Closing Time.
Tenders received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed tenders will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for concrete repairs at the Vancouver South
Transfer Station in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-removal and reinstallation of bird netting;
-concrete crack repairs; and
-commercial tipping floor and pit concrete repairs using owner supplied material.
The Site is located at Vancouver South Transfer Station, 377 W Kent Ave, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents.

Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on the approximate date of Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: Vancouver South Transfer Station, 377 W Kent
Ave, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers must pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to Tuesday, October 20, 2020. The Contact Person will send a Microsoft Outlook meeting invite with the exact date and time of the Information Meeting to Tenderers and their listed subcontractors who submit the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) prior to the time and date above.
All persons attending the Information Meeting on behalf of Tenderers must bring their own
personal protective equipment (PPE) consisting of face masks, steel toe footwear, high visibility
vests, hand gloves, hard hat, and safety glasses.
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
It is the sole responsibility of each Tenderer to check the City’s website at
http://vancouver.ca/doing-business/open-bids.aspx regularly for addenda, amendments and questions and answers related to this ITT, which the City may issue at any time during the process, and for any reason, at its discretion.
