“Vancouver Time” will be conclusively deemed to be the time indicated in the electronic timestamp the Tender receives upon receipt at the email address specified herein, which is in turn synchronized to Network Time Protocol (NTP) provided by the National Research Council of Canada adjusted to local Pacific Time Zone.
CLOSING LOCATION
Tenders are to be emailed to bids@vancouver.ca and must be received at bids@vancouver.ca prior to 3:00pm, Vancouver Time (as defined in Note 3 below), on May 27, 2021 (the “Closing Time”).
Tenders will be not be publicly opened. Tender results can be found within 48 hours of the Closing Time at the following website:

NOTES:
Tenders must be received at the email addressed specified above prior to the Closing Time.

General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver as represented by its Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation (the “City”) invites Tenders for the Templeton Track Renewal.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-Protection of existing trees as noted on drawings
-All demolition work as indicated in the drawings
-Excavation, removal and off-site disposal of excess materials
-Earthworks to achieve grades and slopes indicated in the drawings
-Supply and installation of granular base materials as required to achieve details, specification and grading requirements
-Supply and install of subsurface drainage works
-Supply and install of concrete work (separate price item only)
-Supply and install of asphalt paving
-Supply and install of rubberized track surfacing
-Supply and install of painted track lines and markings
-Supply and install of site furnishings
-Supply and install of growing medium
-Supply and install of sod Refer to the Drawings and Specifications for a more detailed description of the Work.
The Site is located at 700 Templeton Dr. (NE corner of Templeton Dr. and Adanac St.), in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached with the drawings.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on May 12, 2021 commencing at 11:00 am (PST).
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 700 Templeton Dr. (NE corner of Templeton Dr. and Adanac St.) in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to 3:00 pm on May 7, 2021.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before May 20, 2021.
