Dates and times of deliveries of Tenders will be determined conclusively by the electronic timestamps connected with and shown on the email deliveries thereof, as synchronized to Network Time Protocol (NTP) provided by the National Research Council of Canada adjusted to local Pacific Time Zone.
CLOSING LOCATION
Tenders must be submitted by email only, to Bids@vancouver.ca by not later than 3:00pm Vancouver Time on June 1, 2021 (the “Closing Time”).
Tenders will be not be publicly opened.
Tender submissions results will be available on the website

Tenders received after the closing time may be returned unopened.

General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the North Granville Bridge Abutment Repairs. Repairs are required at the Seymour and Howe voided abutment structures at the north side of the Granville Street bridge.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to the supply and installation of post-tensioning bars at approximately two metre intervals along the length of the enclosed structures, underneath the deck slab at these two locations as well as but not limited to:
a) Concrete coring;
b) Supply and installation of anchor plates;
c) Supply and installation of finishing material (i.e grout);
d) Installation of post-tensioning and jacking;
e) Concrete repairs and crack injection to corbels; and
f) Traffic control for all construction activities.
In general, the work will include the provision of all labour, materials and equipment necessary for the North Granville Bridge Abutment Repairs including:
a) engineering;
b) structural work;
c) mobilization and demobilization;
d) traffic management;
e) quality management; and
f) environmental mitigation.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the Mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on May 18, 2021 commencing at 10:00 AM and ending at approximately 11:30 AM. All Tenderers must attend this meeting, and all participants are to follow COVID-19 protocols set in place by the BC Ministry of Health. Any participant who is experiencing any symptoms while at the meeting shall be sent home and all persons should complete the self assessment tool at https://covid19.thrive.health/ or download the app to their phone.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be under the Granville Bridge, at the Howe abutment, please see Appendix 3 – Site Plan below.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to 4:00 PM, May 17, 2021.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before May 24, 2021.
