“Vancouver Time” will be conclusively deemed to be the time indicated in the electronic
timestamp the Tender receives upon delivery to the email address specified herein, which is in
turn synchronized to Network Time Protocol (NTP) provided by the National Research Council of
Canada adjusted to local Pacific Time Zone.

Submitting the files via Drop box, FTP, or similar programs, is not acceptable.
Tenders received after the closing time may be returned unopened.

General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the continuation of upgrading works for
the 10th Avenue biking network from Willow Street to Ash St. The City will also upgrade one (1)
block of sewer between Heather St. and Ash St. along 10th Avenue.
The Work Site is located at 10th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia through the Hospital Zone
between Willow St. and Ash St. the Work Site is further described in the Tender Documents and
further details are provided in Appendix 3.
The purpose of this ITT is to select a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.

The Specifications and Drawings may include the “Master Municipal Specifications and Standard Detail Drawings” contained within Volume II of the Master Municipal Construction Document (printing 2009) as supplemented by the City of Vancouver Standard Detail Drawings (rev. September 2019) and the City of Vancouver Construction Specifications (rev. November 2019).

Information Meeting
INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are invited to attend the information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on
August 19, 2020 commencing at 2:00 pm.
The Information Meeting will be held online using Webex. Dial-in details will be provided upon
receipt of the Information Meeting Attendance Form.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to August 19, 2020.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before September 10, 2020.
