“Vancouver Time” will be conclusively deemed to be the time indicated in the
electronic timestamp the Tender receives upon delivery to the email address specified
herein, which is in turn synchronized to Network Time Protocol (NTP) provided by the
National Research Council of Canada adjusted to local Pacific Time Zone.
CLOSING LOCATION
Each Tenderer should submit its Tender by email in accordance with the following:

the City of Vancouver.
- Submitting the files via Drop box, FTP, or similar programs, is not acceptable.
Tenders received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed tenders will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver as represented by its Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation
(the “City”) invites Tenders for the construction of two new parks in East Fraser Lands
community in southeast Vancouver as per the drawings and specifications provided in
this ITT. North and Middle Kinross parks are separated only by one road and rail line
and will function as one continual public space. For more information on the East
Fraser Lands master planned community, refer to the City of Vancouver project
webpage (https://vancouver.ca/home-property-development/east-fraser-lands-riverdistrict.
aspx).
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
(a) Site mobilization and hoarding, and tree protection
(b) Earthwork, stripping, grading and drainage, and pathways connections
(c) Demolition, removal and disposal of all material indicated
(d) Paving of concrete, asphalt and/or others
(e) Supply and install exterior site furnishings and concrete components
(f) Provision of landscape maintenance as described in the specifications
(g) Provision of all equipment and requirement in accordance to the specifications

Information Meeting
Tenderers are invited to attend a information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on
June 23, 2020 commencing at 10:00 A.M.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: Kinross Park North, at the Northwest
corner of Kinross Street and East Kent Avenue N., Vancouver, BC.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to 1:00 P.M., June 19, 2020.
