General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the construction of stormwater, leachate, and gas systems expansion at the Vancouver Landfill.
The purpose of this ITT is to select a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently
and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
- Construction of Phase 4 North Lift 4 Horizontal Gas Collectors;
- Construction of Phase 5 Culvert Extension;
- Construction of Phase 5 South Lift 1 Leachate Collector; and
- Construction of Phase 4 North Gas Sub-Header Conveyance Pipe (Provisional Item).
The Work Site is located at 5400 72nd Street, Delta, British Columbia. The Work Site is further described in the Tender Documents.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on Thursday, November 28, 2019 commencing at 1:00 p.m.
The Mandatory Information Meeting will take place at the Landfill.
All persons attending the Mandatory Information Meeting on behalf of Tenderers must bring
their own personal protective equipment (PPE) consisting of steel toe footwear, high visibility
vests, and safety glasses.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
