General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for general contractor services to replace the existing Reliable Controls with a new Building Automation System (BAS) at 2120 Cambie Street in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Background:
The City is looking to replace the existing Reliable Controls system installed at the worksite (2120 Cambie Street) with a new BAS controls system. The City will consider either a Reliable Controls system or a Delta Controls system according to the specifications and requirements set out in the Tender Documents.

The installing contractor shall be authorized and trained by the relevant manufacturer.

The Specifications, Drawings and the City of Vancouver Hazardous Material Report will be provided to Tenderers that duly complete, sign and submit via email to the Contact Person a Non-Disclosure Agreement (Appendix 3) in accordance with this ITT. The signed Non-Disclosure Agreement should be submitted no later than January 9, 2020.

Information Meeting

Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on January 6, 2020 commencing at 9:30 a.m. Vancouver Time.

The Information Meeting will be held at 2120 Cambie Street in Vancouver, British Columbia. Tenderers are asked to meet at the main entrance of the building five (5) minutes prior to the start of the Information Meeting.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to January 3, 2020.

Only Tenderers who have duly completed and executed the Non-Disclosure Agreement (Appendix 3) and delivered it to the City in accordance with this ITT will be allowed to attend the Information Meeting.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before January 10, 2020.
