Tenders may be delivered by couriers or otherwise in person at the address specified above, prior to the Closing Time.
Tenders must be in sealed envelopes or packages marked with the Tenderer’s name and the ITT title and number.
Tenderers should submit one copy of the Tender and one copy of each other document required by the Tender Documents, including the bid bond described in Part B of the ITT.
Tenders received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed tenders will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites tenders from qualified construction contractors for certain landfill closure and landfill gas system upgrades work (the “Work”) at the City’s landfill facility located at 5400-72nd Street in Delta, British Columbia (the “Landfill”). The project is known as the Phase 4 Closure and Gas System Upgrades, Vancouver Landfill. The objective of the ITT is the selection of a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.
The Specifications and Drawings are incorporated herein by reference and will be available for Tenderers at the following FTP site:

The Specifications and Drawings include the “Master Municipal Specifications and Standard Detail Drawings” contained within Volume II of the Master Municipal Construction Document, except that all of Volume I and the following parts of Volume II thereof are hereby expressly excluded from the Specifications and Drawings and from ITT: Instructions to Tenderers – Part II. General Conditions (including Schedule 17.5.3 Letter Agreement with Referee, Changes and Extra Work flow chart, and Dispute Resolution Process flow chart).

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 commencing at 10:00 a.m.
The Mandatory Information Meeting will take place at the Landfill.
All persons attending the Mandatory Information Meeting on behalf of Tenderers must bring their own personal protective equipment (PPE) consisting of steel toe footwear, high visibility vests, and safety glasses.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to Monday, January 13, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before Thursday, January 23, 2020.
