General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the replacement of the fire alarm
system in the City Hall building at 453 W. 12th Avenue.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
(a) Replacement of the existing fire alarm system;
(b) Replacement of the fire alarm initiation and detection devices in the building; and
(c) Provision of the verification of the fire alarm system to meet all safety standards.
The Site is located at 453 W. 12th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further
described in the Tender Documents.
The purpose of this ITT is to select a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on Wednesday June 26, 2019 commencing at 2:00 pm.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 453 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver,
British Columbia. Attendees are asked to assemble on the main floor of the building beside the
Information Desk. (Main floor rotunda).
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or prior to Tuesday June 25, 2019.
