General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the construction services for earthfill dike. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:

-Clearing and grubbing the Work Site;
-Earthfill dike installation including the supply and compacting of fill material for approximately 700m of length;
-Supply and install approximately 120m of drain pipe in a gravel trench;
-Raising an existing manhole;
-Removing an existing catch basin;
-Supply materials and revegetation (Terraseeding) of the dike;
-Supply and install of the pedestrian pathway; and
-Being and acting as Prime Contractor on site.

The Work Site is located at approximately at the intersection of Kinross Street and North Arm Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Work Site is further described in the Tender Documents, attached as Appendix 3.

Information Meeting

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING

Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on Thursday, June 6, 2019 commencing at 2:00 p.m..

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 12:00 p.m..

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019. ____________________________________________________________________________
