General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the services of a mechanical contractor for the upgrade of the roof top air handling unit located at 1475 W. 10th Avenue.

The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-the supply and installation of heat pumps, electric duct heaters and related mechanical systems upgrades as per the tender documents.
-hazmat remediation for areas disturbed by the upgrades.

The Site is located at 1475 W. 10th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached as Appendix 3.

The purpose of this ITT is to select a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.

Information Meeting

Tenderers are required to attend the information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 commencing at 10:00 a.m..

The location of the Information Meeting will be: 1475 W. 10th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person or email prior to 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2019.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person or email on or before 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019.
