General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for a Granville Bridge Rehabilitation. Construction project, which will include structural rehabilitation of and seismic upgrades for
the City’s Granville Bridge.
In general, the work will include the provision of all labour, materials and equipment necessary
for the rehabilitation and seismic upgrade of the bridge, including:
a) engineering;
b) structural work;
c) mobilization and demobilization;
d) traffic management;
e) quality management;
f) environmental mitigation;
g) temporary jacking of the bridge;
h) replacement or rehabilitation of existing bearings;
i) supply and installation of new bearings;
j) concrete repairs to piers, diaphragms, deck and sidewalk soffits;
k) replacement of expansion joints;
l) localized painting;
m) steel repairs at finger joints;
n) construction of concrete luminaire supports; and
o) construction of concrete luminaire supports.
The Work Site is located at the Granville Bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Work Site
is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached as Appendix 3.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 commencing at 1:00 pm.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: Strathcona Room, Subground, Vancouver City Hall, 453 W. 12th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the
Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email
prior to Friday, March 29, 2019.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) by email to the Contact Person at brian.brennan@vancouver.ca on or before Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
