General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the removal of the existing roof system and to supply and install a new roof system at the Hastings Library located at 2674 E Hastings Street.

The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:

-Removal of existing reinforced concrete topping;
-Removal of existing roof system;
-Supply and install new roof system;
-Supply and install new reinforced concrete topping;
-Removal of exterior enclosure for roof top units, and;
-Supply and install new exterior enclosure for roof top units

The Site is located at 2674 E Hastings St, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents.

Information Meeting

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING

Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 commencing at 1:00p.m.

The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 2674 E. Hastings St., Vancouver, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to 12:00p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before 3:00p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018.
