General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders from General Contractors (GC) for the
supply of all plant, equipment and services for Phase 1 including demolition and hazmat
remediation of the second floor at 2780 E Broadway. The GC shall act as Prime Contractor to
ensure coordination of occupational health and safety activities of all employers, workers and
other persons at the workplace.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on November 16, 2018 commencing at 10:00 a.m. Attendees should
include demolition, hazardous materials abatement, mechanical and electrical
subcontractors, as well as fire protection engineers.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 2780 East Broadway, Vancouver,
British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the
Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email
prior to November 16, 2018.

RE: Optional 2ND Site Visit
An optional 2nd site visit is scheduled on Friday, November 23, 2018 commencing at 10:00 am. This optional 2nd site visit is intended for general contractors or potential prime contractors who attended the mandatory 1st site visit, and their subcontractors.
The Project Manager for this project, Lillian Mah, will assist all attendees.
For all questions, please send them via email to the Contact Person stated in the ITT.
