General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders from General Contractor’s for the water main replacement project at Manitoba Yards. and replacement of approximately 880m of underground water main, including but not limited to: piping, fire hydrants, double check valves and chambers, service shutoff valves.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-Replacement of approximately 900m of water main; and
-Replacement of four (4) fire hydrants; and
-Replacement of service vale and isolation valves; and
-Connections from new water main into existing interior water entry points to buildings; and;
-Reinstatement of asphalt and concrete as required
The Work Site is located at 250 W. 70th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Work Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached as Appendix 3.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “[Mandatory] Information Meeting”) on November 28, 2018 commencing at 10:00AM.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: Operations Building at Manitoba Yards, 250 W. 70th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to 3:00pm Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before January 3, 2019.
