General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the furnishing of all labour, materials, plant, equipment and services necessary for an interior renovation as further outlined in the specifications and drawings.

The renovations generally include, but are not limited to limited demolition, new GWB partition walls, new carpet, acoustic baffles, millwork, security hardware, graphic film, mechanical, and electrical work.

The building owner has pre-qualified the following sub-contractors to work on the base building systems and the successful general contractor will be required to use only those listed for any subcontracted base building work:

a) Electrical Mott Electrical GP, and Blueline Electric 604-683-5752
b) HVAC/Mechanical Somatic HVAC Solutions 604-451-0064

The Site is located at 511 West Broadway, Vancouver British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents.

Information Meeting

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING

Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 commencing at 2:00 pm.

The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 511 West Broadway, Vancouver, British Columbia. Tenderers are asked to assemble inside the front door of 511 W. Broadway.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email prior to Friday, September 28, 2018.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response, Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before Friday, October 5, 2018.
