General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver as represented by its Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation (the “City”) invites Tenders for the Construction of Smithe and Richards Park.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-Construction of Smithe and Richards Park
-Features include: Café and public washrooms, Central plaza, Pedestrian bridge, Sky-Frames, Destination playground, Green infrastructure, Landscape plantings, Electrical
vehicle charging stations
- Further information is contained in Appendix 3 – Specifications and Drawings
The Site is located at the corner of Smithe Street and Richards Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including Drawings and Specifications attached as Appendix 3.
PLEASE NOTE:
This ITT is limited to Tenderers who have been pre-qualified by the City to submit a Tender as per the Request for Contractor Pre-Qualification PS20180345 held in March 2018.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on
August 9, 2018 commencing at 10:00 AM. Attendance at this meeting is strongly encouraged.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: The site located at the corner of Smithe
Street and Richards Street, Vancouver, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information
Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email prior to August 8,
2018, 4:00 PM.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response
Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before August 30,
2018.
