General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver “as represented by its Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation” (the “City”) invites Tenders for the repair, maintenance and reconstruction of specific areas of the
Stanley Park and English Bay Seawall.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
repair, rehabilitation and protection of the Stanley Park and English Bay seawall between
the foot of Chico Avenue at Coal Harbour and Sunset Beach near the mouth of False Creek;
restoration of project area, including but not limited to adjacent pathways, bike lanes,
landscaping, infrastructure, and natural features to the original conditions.
The City reserves the right to add or delete scopes of work based on the Alternate Price table
listed in Schedule A of this ITT.
The Site is situated along various sections of the Stanley Park and English Bay Seawall located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, attached as Appendix 3.
Specifications and Drawings, and for information purposes, other Reference documents and drawings will be made available at the City’s FTP site with login details below.

Tenderers are invited to attend the information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on
November 2, 2018 commencing at 11:00 am.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: Strathcona Meeting Room, Sub-Ground level,
Vancouver City Hall, 453 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia V5Y 1V4.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information
Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email prior to
November 2, 2018.
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email to: email@example.com prior to November 20, 2018.
