General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the Granville Bridge North Concrete
Approach Structural and Seismic Repairs.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
Temporary jacking of the bridge;
Removal of existing bearings;
Supply and installation of new bearings;
Concrete repairs to piers, diaphragms, deck and sidewalk soffits;
Steel repairs to light pole bases and handrail; and
Traffic control for all construction activities.
The Work Site is located at the north end of the Granville Bridge, in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Work Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached as Appendix 3.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on August 22, 2018 commencing at 10:00 am.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: under north end of Granville Bridge at Beach Ave, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to August 20, 2018.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before September 6, 2018.
