General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the services of a general contractor for the addition and upgrade of washrooms and water main at 3214 W. 10th Avenue.

The Work generally includes TWO (2) scopes of work, but is not limited to:

Scope 1: Construction of a new DCW line to the existing water main and demolition and upgrade of branch water lines.

Scope 2: Construction of new and renovated washrooms.

Hazmat remediation for areas disturbed by the renovations.

The Work shall be phased as the building is occupied and will remain so during construction.

The Site is located at 3214 W. 10 Ave, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached as Appendix 3.

Information Meeting

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING

Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on Thursday, September 6, 2018 commencing at 10:30 a.m.

The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 3214 W. 10 Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person or email prior to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person or email on or before 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2018.
