General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the replacement of two diesel tanks
located at City hall in Vancouver.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to the supply all labour, equipment, and
materials necessary for the replacement of two diesel storage tanks, fuel pumps, associated
connections, supply lines, concrete pads and other relevant assemblies associated with the
system.
The Site is located at the City Hall building at 453 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents.
The purpose of this ITT is to select a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently
and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.
IF A POTENTIAL TENDERER BELIEVES THAT THE CITY MAY BE UNABLE TO SELECT IT DUE TO A CONFLICT OF INTEREST, BUT IS UNCERTAIN ABOUT THIS, THE POTENTIAL TENDERER IS URGED TO CONTACT THE CONTACT PERSON AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WITH THE RELEVANT INFORMATION SO THAT THE CITY MAY ADVISE THE POTENTIAL TENDERER REGARDING THE MATTER. SEE SCHEDULE “L” FOR AN INDICATION OF THE TYPES OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST THAT OFTEN ARISE.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on Thursday September 14, 2017 commencing at 9:00 a.m.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be outside the south entrance to City Hall at 453 W. 12th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia.
