General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for renovations to the administration building at the Vancouver Landfill (the “Landfill”). The renovations are to outside staff hygiene and safety through facility upgrade including staff lunchroom, changing areas, washrooms, and kitchen.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-Electrical work;
-HVAC;
-Mechanical;
-Temporary facilities.
The Site is located at 5400 72nd Street, in Delta, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached as Appendix 3.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on Thursday, October 12, 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: the Landfill, 5400 72nd Street,
Delta, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
All persons attending the Mandatory Information Meeting on behalf of Tenderers must bring
their own personal protective equipment (PPE) consisting of steel toe footwear, high visibility
vests, and safety glasses.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response
Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before Thursday, October
26, 2017.
