General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the construction of gas works at the City of Vancouver Landfill (the “Landfill”). The City is seeking a contractor (“Contractor”) to construct approximately fifty five (55) large diameter (900 mm boring) landfill gas extraction wells at the Landfill in Delta (the “Work”). The project also involves supplying and installing all of the piping, valving and other components required to connect the extraction wells into the City's landfill gas management system. Installing and connecting the landfill gas extraction wells is critical to ensuring that the City maximizes landfill gas collection at the Landfill and therefore the new wells must be operational and delivering gas by December 15, 2011.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are invited to attend an Information Meeting and Site Visit on Thursday, July 7,
2011 commencing at 9:00 a.m.
Location: 5400 72nd Street, Delta, British Columbia.
All prospective Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting
an Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) by fax to 604-873-7057 or e-mail to
[email protected] by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
Attendees to the Site Visit portion of the Information Meeting and Site Visit will be required to
bring and wear steel toed boots and high visibility vests.
