Expressions of Interest are to be addressed to Social Policy – School Age Care and Preschool Operator Selection - City of Vancouver, #501-111 W. Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V6B 1H4, and should be received prior to 4:30 p.m., Vancouver Time (as defined in Note 3 ), on Friday, April 30, 2021 (the “Closing Time”).

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST WILL NOT BE PUBLICLY OPENED.

An Expression of Interest may be submitted by email to the Contact Person or it may be sent to the address specified above by mail or delivered by courier, in each case prior to the Closing Time.

Each Expression of Interest must be marked with the Respondent’s name and the RFEOI title and number.

Submissions received after the closing time may be returned unopened.

Fax submission will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver as represented by the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation (“Park Board”) is seeking expressions of interest (“Expressions of Interest”) for a school age care and preschool operator with expertise of resuming and providing these services at the Kensington Community Centre (“Kensington Centre”).

Information Meeting

An information meeting (the “Information Meeting” will be held to enable Proponents to seek clarification with respect to any aspect of the RFEOI in a group forum. Attendance at the Information Meeting is not required. The details are as follows:

Date: as specified in Section 2.2

Time: as specified in Section 2.2

Location: RSVP to childcare@vancouver.ca by April 7th for login details to the online Information Session over WebEx.

Potential Proponents are encouraged to read the RFEOI and submit any questions relating to the RFEOI to the Contact Person by 48 hours prior to the Information Meeting.
