An Expression of Interest should be submitted by email prior to 3:00pm on August 9, 2018 (the “Closing Time”) in accordance with the following:
Subject of the file to be: PS# - Title – Vendor name.
Document format for submissions:
Schedule 1-5 in PDF format, – 1 combined PDF file, and;
Any additional attachments if required.
Zip the files to reduce the size or email separately if needed.
Send your submissions to Bids@vancouver.ca do not deliver a physical copy to the City
If you did not receive an automated email within few minutes, check your junk folder

Submitting the files via Drop box, FTP, or similar programs, is not acceptable.
Each Expression of Interest must be marked with the vendor’s name and the RFEOI title and
“Vancouver Time” will be conclusively deemed to be time in the City of Vancouver, as
indicated in the electronic timestamp the Proposal receives upon delivery to the email address specified herein, which is in turn synchronized to Network Time Protocol (NTP) provided by the National Research Council of Canada adjusted to local Pacific Time Zone.

Submissions received after the closing time may be returned unopened.

General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) is seeking expressions of interest (“Expressions of Interest”) from interested parties with expertise in the lifecycle of retail products and merchandise. This expertise would include the development of creative strategy and conceptual designs, brand activation and implementation strategy for marketing and merchandising of promotional goods for sale to the general public. The goods would specifically utilize City brand and trademark for the purposes of preserving, commemorating and promoting the Vancouver experience and building local pride for the City of Vancouver.
“City Brands and Trademarks” is defined as and includes the brands and trademarks registered in the name of the City of Vancouver as well as the Vancouver Park Board as official marks under the Trademarks Act (Canada) all as set out in Schedule 5 to this RFEOI, as well as (if applicable) any and all logo’s, brands, trademarks, and other intellectual property which is proposed to be developed by the respondent as part of the services being proposed in response to this RFEOI.
The City envisions a partnership with an entity that has an established platform capable of supporting audience reach and exposure for retail products and merchandise. Through the partner’s experience and established creative and sales channels and through joint marketing and brand affiliation, the partner will demonstrate to the City their ability to develop a product design, implementation and marketing strategy that will be able to increase brand impressions for the City of Vancouver; to leverage City Brands and Trademarks in order to generate visibility and awareness, while producing positive revenues that can be reinvested into a number of Vancouver public services.
