SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
Proponents should submit their Proposals on or before the time and date specified in the bottom row of the table in Section 2.1 (the “Closing Time”).
Each Proponent should submit its Proposal by email to bids@vancouver.ca with the Proponent’s name and the RFP title and number in the “subject” line (“Distance Learning Provider for Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services; PS20180914”
SUBMISSIONS SENT OTHER THAN EMAIL FOR EXAMPLE BY FAX; HARD COPY AND FTP LINK ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
To be considered by the City, a Proposal must be submitted in the form set out in Part C (the “Form of Proposal”), completed and duly executed by the relevant Proponent.
a) Download and complete Part C in Word and convert to one PDF document for your submission with the exception of Appendix 3 – Commercial Proposal which should be submitted as a separate PDF file, both attached to your e-mail and sent to bids@vancouver.ca
Amendments to a Proposal may be submitted via the same methods, at any time prior to the Closing Time.
Proposals are revocable and may be withdrawn at any time before or after the Closing Time.
Please refer to Section 4.0 Submission of Proposals for full details.
Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.
Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement
The RFP concerns the City’s interest in procuring the services of a distance learning provider with respect to certified and accredited Fire Service related training courses and programs for Vancouver Fire Rescue Services (VFRS). Details of the City’s objectives and requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The City welcomes proposals that are responsive to this RFP (“Proposals”) respecting innovative or novel approaches to the City’s objectives and requirements.
