SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS

Proponents should submit their Proposals on or before the time and date specified in the bottom row of the table in Section 2.1 above (the “Closing Time”).

Each Proponent should submit its Proposal by email to bids@vancouver.ca with the
Proponent’s name and the RFP title and number in the “subject” line (“SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PIPE AND FITTINGS; PS20180799”).

PROPOSALS MUST NOT BE SUBMITTED BY FAX, HARD COPY AND FTP LINK.

To be considered by the City, a Proposal must be submitted in the form set out in Part C (the “Form of Proposal”), completed and duly executed by the relevant Proponent in one PDF Document excluding Pricing Table which should be submitted by itself in Excel Document.

Amendments to a Proposal may be submitted via the same methods, at any time prior to the Closing Time.

Proposals are revocable and may be withdrawn at any time before or after the Closing Time.

Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.

Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement

The RFP concerns the City’s interest in procuring pipe and fittings to support the City’s operations as, if and when required, as set out herein. The City is requesting proposals from interested, qualified and experienced firms that are able to provide a diverse and extensive supply of pipe and fittings for delivery to various City departments. Details of the City’s
objectives and requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The City welcomes proposals that are responsive to this RFP (“Proposals”) respecting innovative or novel approaches to the City’s objectives and requirements.
