SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
Proponents should submit their Proposals on or before the time and date specified in the bottom row of the table in Section 2.1 (the “Closing Time”).

Each Proponent should submit its Proposal by email to bids@vancouver.ca with the Proponent’s name and the RFP title and number in the “subject” line (“Electrical Engineering Consulting for EV Infrastructure); PS20180266”

-SUBMISSIONS SENT OTHER THAN EMAIL FOR EXAMPLE BY FAX; HARD COPY AND FTP LINK ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.

-To be considered by the City, a Proposal must be submitted in the form set out in Part C (the “Form of Proposal”), completed and duly executed by the relevant Proponent as follows:
a) Download and complete Part C in Word and convert to one PDF document for your submission with the exception of Appendix 3 – Commercial Proposal which should be submitted as a separate PDF file.

-Amendments to a Proposal may be submitted via the same methods, at any time prior to the Closing Time.

Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.

Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement

The RFP concerns the City’s intent to add more than 120 electric vehicles in the medium and heavy duty categories over the next five years. To support these vehicles, the City intends to undertake the necessary work to install an appropriate number of electric vehicle charging stations to allow for effective charging of these additional electric vehicles. Details of the City’s objectives and requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The City welcomes proposals that are responsive to this RFP (“Proposals”) respecting innovative or novel approaches to the City’s objectives and requirements.
