SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS

Proponents should submit their Proposals on or before the time and date specified in the bottom row of the table in Section 2.1 above (the “Closing Time”).

Each Proponent should submit its Proposal by email in accordance with the following:

-Subject of the file to be: PS20172464 – Operator for 2850 West 3rd Avenue – followed by theProponent’s name.
-Document format for submissions:
-RFP Part C in PDF format – 1 combined PDF file,
-Appendix 9 Operating Budget and Cashflow (as presented on FTP site) in Excel,and;
-Any other attachments if necessary.

Zip the files to reduce the size or email separately if needed.

Send your submissions to Bids@vancouver.ca do not deliver a physical copy to the City of Vancouver.

If you did not receive an automated email within few minutes, check your junk folder first,and then contact Purchasing@vancouver.ca

Submitting the files via Drop box, FTP, or similar programs, is not acceptable.

To be considered by the City, a Proposal must be submitted in the form set out in Part C (the “Form of Proposal”), completed and duly executed by the relevant Proponent.

Amendments to a Proposal may be submitted via the same methods, at any time prior to the Closing Time.

Proposals are revocable and may be withdrawn at any time before or after the Closing Time.

Please refer to Section 4.0 Submission of Proposals for full details.

Proposals received after the closing time may be returned unopened.

Faxed proposals will not be accepted.

General Description of Requirement

The RFP concerns the City’s interest in procuring operators to manage a property at 2850 West Third Avenue. Details of the City’s objectives and requirements to which the RFP relates are set out in Part B of the RFP. The City welcomes proposals that are responsive to this RFP (“Proposals”) respecting innovative or novel approaches to the City’s objectives and requirements.

Information Meeting

A site visit and information meeting (the “Site Visit and Information Meeting”) will be held to enable Proponents to seek clarification with respect to any aspect of the RFP in a group forum. The details are as follows:

Date: Monday, June 18, 2018
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: 2850 West Third Avenue, Vancouver

Potential Proponents are encouraged to read the RFP and submit any questions relating to the RFP to the Contact Person prior to the Site Visit and Information Meeting.

Potential Proponents interested in attending the Site Visit and Information Meeting should pre-register for the Site Visit and Information Meeting by completing and submitting the form contained in Appendix 1 to Part A, by e-mail to jim.lowood@vancouver.ca on or before the time and date specified in Section 2.1

The City will in good faith attempt to give accurate oral responses to questions posed during the Site Visit and Information Meeting but Proponents are advised that they may only rely on the written information contained herein or in documents posted to the City’s website, as described in Section 5.1
