General Description of Requirement

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the removal of existing lighting fixtures, the installation of new lighting fixtures, the replacement of low voltage switches and low voltage dimming controls to new LED luminaires at two community centers in the City.

The City may split the award so that contracts to complete Subset One and Subset Two are awarded to separate Tenderers, or all such projects may be awarded to a single Tenderer. As a result, Tenderers are requested to submit both an offer to complete all of the Work, as well as separate offers to complete individual projects.

The Sites are located as follows:
(a) Killarney Community Center - 6260 Killarney St, Vancouver, British Columbia; and
(b) West End Community Center - 870 Denman Street, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Information Meeting

Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) at each site on Tuesday April 10, 2018.

The location and time of each Information Meeting will be:

(a) Killarney Community Center - 6260 Killarney St, 9:30 am;
(b) West End Community Center - 870 Denman Street, 11:00 am.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meetings by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email prior to 3:00 pm Monday April 9, 2018.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before Wednesday April 11, 2018.
