General Description of Requirement

Interested Tenderers are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) attached as Schedule M of the ITT and return it to the Contact Person to obtain access to all documents. Tenders will only be accepted from Tenderers who signed the NDA.

The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the construction of a Forensic Processing Facility at the Vancouver Police Department (VPD).

The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:

-Partially demolish and renovate a portion of the existing Vancouver Police Department’s Property and Forensics Storage Facility at 2010 Glenn Drive, Vancouver, and
-Construction of a new Forensic Processing Facility, as indicated in the Tender documents

The Site is located at 2010 Glen Dr., Vancouver, BC V5T 0B1. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents listed in Appendix 3.

Information Meeting

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING

Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory Information Meeting”) on June 1, 2018 commencing at 9:00 am.

The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 2010 Glen Drive, Vancouver, BC V5T 0B1.

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to June 1, 2018.

A 2nd site visit is scheduled for the Tenderers, who were at the 1st mandatory site meeting, and their sub-contractors on June 12, 2018 (Tuesday) at 9:00 am.

The Facilities Manager for VPD and a staff will meet all interested proponents at the door of the VPD office at 2010 Glen Dr., Vancouver at 9:00 am and will take all proponents to the site of the work.Late comers may not be accepted.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before June 19, 2018.
