General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for renovations at Fire Hall No. 2.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to upgrades to the Fire Hall #2 Building: including:
(a) Demolition and reconstruction of the upper floor to accommodate three additional staff in two new rooms;
(b) Modification / Reconfiguration of two existing bedrooms;
(c) Construction of new gender neutral shower room (including toilet and sink) to accommodate female staff;
(d) Infill one slide pole and add lockers necessary for new staff members;
(e) Add card readers and system to hall;
(f) installation of new automatic sliding doors and storefront glazing at ground floor; and
(g) all related architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical work required to complete the project and as further specified in the Drawings and Specifications.
The Site is located at 199 Main Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents.
Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on Wednesday February 14, 2018 commencing at 2:00 pm.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: 199 Main Street, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or prior to Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
