General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver “as represented by its Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation” (the “City”) invites Tenders for the construction of a playground replacement at Clark Park.
The Site is located at 1500 E 14th Avenue, Vancouver British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents, including the Site Plan attached as Appendix 3.
The purpose of this ITT is to select a Tenderer with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work and that has the following qualifications:
(a) Kinsol Timber Systems (“KTS”) or approved equal with ability to fabricate custom
playground components off site;
(b) possess the following qualifications and experience, at least one (1) Canadian Certified
Playground Inspector throughout the duration any play equipment installation work who
shall be qualified with the CPRA;
(c) KTS or approved equal with ability to produce fully engineered signed and sealed shop
drawings for custom playground equipment meeting structural loading as per CSA-Z614-14.
(d) Exterior architectural woodwork will be performed by a Contractor holding Interprovincial
Red Seal status as a carpenter.

Information Meeting
Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on October 19, 2017 commencing at 9:00 a.m.
The location of the Information Meeting will be: 1500 E 14th Avenue, Vancouver British Columbia Vancouver, British Columbia. Meeting point will be at the small playground closest to Commercial Drive.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email prior to October 18, 2017.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by email on or before October 26, 2017.
