General Description of Requirement
The purpose of the ITT is to invite tenders from qualified construction contractors for
performance of the work required for the construction of the lift 1 leachate collector in the
Phase 4 area of the City of Vancouver landfill facility located in the Municipality of Delta in
British Columbia (the “Landfill”). The project is known as the Phase 4 Lift 1 Leachate Collector
(the “Phase 4 Lift 1 Project”). The ultimate objective of the ITT is the selection of a Tenderer
with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete
the Work.

Information Meeting
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 commencing at 10:00 a.m.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: Vancouver Landfill, 5400 72nd Street, Delta, Vancouver, British Columbia.
All persons attending the Mandatory Information Meeting on behalf of Tenderers must bring their own personal protective equipment (PPE) consisting of steel toe footwear, high visibility vests, and safety glasses.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person email prior to Monday, October 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
