General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the modernization of a freight elevator.
The Work generally includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, equipment and materials necessary to complete the modernization of the freight elevator (service elevator # 6) at 3585 Graveley Street with substantial completion of the Work by approximately March 15, 2018.
The Site is located at 3585 Graveley Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. The Site is further described in the Tender Documents.
MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory information meeting (the “Mandatory
Information Meeting”) on Monday September 25, 2017 commencing at 9:00 a.m.
The location of the Mandatory Information Meeting will be: 3585 Graveley Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. Some Parking is available on site, remaining would be street parking. Please
assemble outside the main entrance on the Kootenay Street side of the building.
Tenderers are asked to invite electrical subcontractors to the meeting. Refer to the list of contractors that have been pre-approved to work on the Site. The list is in Part B, section 14.3.
Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Mandatory Information Meeting by submitting the Mandatory Information Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before Wednesday September 20, 2017.
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 2) to the Contact Person by fax or email on or before Tuesday September 26, 2017.
