General Description of Requirement
The City of Vancouver (the “City”) invites Tenders for the construction of improvements to the
South False Creek Seawall from Alder Bay Walk to Stamps Landing in the City of Vancouver.
The Work generally includes, but is not limited to:
-Constructing new or wider pedestrian and cyclist paths and medians;
-Replacing surface treatments and landscaping;
-Installing new pathway lighting and underground infrastructure;
-Installing underground servicing for an automated public toilet (APT) and a water fountain.
The Work Site is described in the Tender Documents.
The purpose of this ITT is to select one of a group of pre-qualified Tenderers with the capability and experience to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the Work.
Tenderers are invited to attend the information meeting (the “Information Meeting”) on May
24, 2017 commencing at

Tenderers are asked to pre-register for the Information Meeting by submitting the Information
Meeting Attendance Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by fax or email prior to May 24,
Tenderers are asked to indicate their intentions to submit Tenders by submitting the Response Notification Form (Appendix 1) to the Contact Person by email on or before June 7, 2017.
